poke hack day
AGENCY: POKE LONDON
Every year Poke puts on a two day Hack Day where teams battle it out to come up with creative solutions to a given problem. This year the theme was "Love Machine" and the brief was to "Create something that puts a little love back in life".
The criteria was to build a working prototype which would be assessed based on Lovability, Originality and Execution.
Our Insight: Love is the universal language, yet we're losing the ability to speak it. Love has been reduced to emotionless shortcuts. 300+ Emojis are available to express complex emotions, yet we're lost for words.
Idea: BYRON; an emotionally intelligent translation service which turns Emoji gobbledygook into meaningful expressions of love.
